     PEPs Toolkit

The child's social worker in conjunction with the school designated teacher and primary carer will organise at least two personal education meetings per year to inform the PEP and discuss these plans with their LAC team manager

Concerns raised within those PEPs should be discussed at the district based referral meeting held at three-weekly intervals; additional support/ resources can be deployed from this meeting

Unresolved problems or issues can then be referred to the Virtual School meeting for further discussion.

LETTERBOX CLUB

About the Letterbox Club
The Letterbox Club is a programme managed by Booktrust in partnership with the University of Leicester.
It focuses on improving the educational outlook for looked-after children aged 7-13 by providing them with a parcel of books, maths activities and educational materials once every month for six months.
Each child participating in the programme will receive the parcels directly addressed to them at home.

31 looked after children are enrolled for 2012 and they will receive their first parcel in May.

The PEP forms below may be completed with the child or young person in school, if the teacher wishes to use them. The form can be saved on computer and then completed electronically, if preferred.
